Manager - Java Full Stack

Hello,

We are looking for an experienced Manager – Java Full Stack Development to lead a high-performing engineering team in Pune.

Location: Pune

Work Model: Work from Office – Mandatory

Experience: 10+ years

⏳ Notice Period: Immediate to 30 days preferred | Max. 45 days

What We’re Looking For

Technical Expertise:

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices & REST APIs
• Frontend experience with React / Angular; Vue.js knowledge is an added advantage
• Strong JavaScript / TypeScript fundamentals
• Experience with CI/CD, Docker & Kubernetes
• Exposure to messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ, Redis, MQTT / MQ
• Ability to provide technical direction while remaining hands-on when required

Strong People Management is Mandatory

This role requires 4+ years of end-to-end people management experience, beyond technical team leadership.

Candidates should have hands-on experience in:

• Performance management
• KRA / KPI discussions and goal setting
• Performance reviews and appraisals
• Regular feedback, coaching and development conversations
• Team reporting and people management
• Managing team performance, growth and engagement

⚠️ Technical team leadership alone will not suffice. Candidates must have demonstrated experience in complete people management and reporting responsibilities.

Preferred Background

• Experience in product engineering organizations or technology-first companies preferred
• Strong service-industry candidates with deep hands-on expertise and product exposure may also be considered
• Experience working with global stakeholders, preferably European stakeholders
• Strong career stability with an average tenure of 2.5–3 years
• No academic gaps during Engineering / Master’s
