Manager, LBS Technology Finance Function Support

Position Overview

We are seeking a Manager, LBS Technology Finance Function Support with direct Oracle Finance experience to provide hands-on functional and application support within a complex finance technology environment. This position is designed for a technology and finance professional who understands both the technical functionality of Oracle financial applications and the business processes those systems support.

This is a hands-on working manager role, not a position focused solely on infrastructure management or end-user support. The Manager will remain directly involved in complex production issues, application escalations, and functional problem-solving while providing leadership and support across critical finance systems and processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Direct professional experience working with Oracle Finance
• Hands-on functional/application support experience within an Oracle Finance environment
• Experience must extend beyond solely infrastructure or general end-user support
• Working knowledge of Finance processes and Oracle financial modules
• Strong working knowledge of:
  • General Ledger (GL)
  • Accounts Payable (AP)
• Exposure to one or more additional Oracle Finance modules, including:
  • Fixed Assets
  • Projects
  • Cost Accounting
  • Accounts Receivable (AR)
  • Cash Management
• Ability and willingness to operate as a hands-on working manager
• Ability to become directly involved in complex production issues and escalations when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Broad functional knowledge across multiple Oracle Finance modules
• Experience supporting business-critical financial applications in a complex organizational environment
• Strong understanding of the relationship between finance business processes and supporting technology
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving complex Oracle Finance production issues
• Ability to communicate effectively across Finance, Accounting, Technology, and business teams
• Previous experience balancing team leadership responsibilities with direct functional application support

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate combines Oracle Finance functional expertise with strong financial-process knowledge and practical leadership ability. They should be comfortable moving between managing priorities and personally investigating complex application issues rather than operating exclusively at the management level.

A particularly strong candidate will have direct experience supporting General Ledger and Accounts Payable, along with exposure to several additional Oracle financial modules. This position is best suited for someone who considers themselves a working manager and is willing to remain technically and functionally engaged when difficult production issues require escalation.

Compensation

$90,000 – $125,000 annually

Compensation within the listed range will be determined based on the candidate's Oracle Finance expertise, functional application support experience, finance systems knowledge, leadership background, qualifications, and overall alignment with the position.
