Manager (m/f/d) Digital Development & Applications (R&D)

You will drive the digital transformation of our central R&D function – with a clear AI-first approach. Together with colleagues from business and IT, you will identify potential for automation, increased efficiency, and sustainable optimization of business processes. This is a responsible role at the interface of business, technology, and innovation. You will have the opportunity to significantly shape the digital development of key corporate functions and implement AI-powered solutions with real added value.

What's particularly important to us: We are not only looking for consultants with solid SAP/IT experience, but also expressly welcome candidates, especially those from product development (R&D) or similar functions. If you have a deep understanding of the processes within R&D, ideally within the food/process industry, and would like to contribute even more to digitalization projects in the future, we look forward to receiving your application.

Your role

• Analysis and optimization of business processes within the Development & Applications departments, with a focus on AI, automation, and data
• Identification, evaluation, and consulting on suitable system solutions
• Collection, structuring, and documentation of functional and technical requirements
• Development of digital solutions, workflows, and automations aligned with strategic business objectives
• Project management for projects from requirements analysis to successful go-live, including change management and training aspects
• Close, constructive, and proactive collaboration with management, business, IT, and other stakeholders
• Ensuring the stable operation of the assigned applications, as well as coordinating incidents and processing service and authorization requests

Your profile

• Several years of experience in digitalization, process optimization, IT project management, or enterprise applications
• A strong understanding of AI applications, automation, data analysis, and modern IT solutions
• Experience in requirements management, solution design, and the implementation of digital solutions
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills and confident stakeholder management – ​​including at the management level
• Enjoyment of actively driving change and inspiring people to embrace digital solutions
