Creative & Merchandising:

  • Lead merchandising projects from concept through execution in partnership with Creative, Retail Marketing, Sales, and other teams.
  • Develop launch and ongoing-business materials, including displays, fixtures, and other retail assets.
  • Manage project timelines, reviews, approvals, and delivery to meet brand objectives, retailer requirements, and retail deadlines.
  • Prepare creative briefs and project fact sheets, and provide teams with the copy, packaging direction, components, and working materials they need.
  • Review copy and artwork for accuracy and support timely approvals and release.

Consumer & Omnichannel Activation:

  • Partner with Advocacy & Influence teams on activation briefs and sampling or mailer priorities.
  • Work with Consumer Connections and other partners to support 360° launch plans and ongoing brand initiatives.
  • Help ensure product stories and assets are consistent across online and offline consumer touchpoints.
  • Track launch performance by retail channel and monitor consumer ratings, reviews, and feedback.

Performance & Reporting:

  • Track shipments, sell-through, ratings, and feedback for new products during the first six months after launch.
  • Monitor launch sell-through during the first 12 weeks and track key products and categories on an ongoing basis.
  • Prepare post-launch updates, quarterly brand reviews, and new-product versus core-business analyses.
  • Maintain visibility into launch commitments and follow-up orders.

Pricing, Budget & Market Awareness:

  • Partner with the AVP to develop pricing recommendations for new products and price changes to existing products.
  • Prepare twice-yearly competitive pricing reviews across product segments and major prestige brands.
  • Manage assigned marketing budgets and business drivers in partnership with Finance.
  • Maintain competitive market materials, including relevant sampling programs, advertising, and new-product references.
  • Conduct regular market visits to observe retail execution and consumer-facing activity.
