Manager of Clearing and Treasury Operations
You will own and improve clearing and treasury operations across the Control Desk, Clearinghouse, DCO, DCM, and ISV functions. You will evaluate the existing environment, build scalable processes, and maintain SOPs, runbooks, escalation paths, and internal documentation. You will support treasury management, cash movement, reconciliation, settlement, and liquidity workflows, ensuring you understand the movement of funds throughout the lifecycle. You will define SLAs, identify operational and control gaps, partner with Product and Engineering on tooling and dashboards, and triage and resolve clearing, settlement, treasury, and exchange issues.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate the DCO clearing and treasury environment and identify improvements needed for scale.
- Own and maintain clearing and treasury SOPs, runbooks, escalation paths, and internal documentation.
- Partner with operational, finance, compliance, product, engineering, ISV, and CX functions to run and improve clearing and treasury operations.
- Translate client pain points into process improvements and SLA enhancements.
- Support treasury management, cash movement, reconciliation, settlement, and liquidity workflows.
- Define, document, and operate within SLAs.
- Identify operational gaps, control weaknesses, and tooling deficiencies, and propose solutions.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to improve clearing and treasury tools, exception workflows, dashboards, and controls.
- Triage and resolve issues across clearing, settlement, treasury, and exchange operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on financial markets operations experience across clearing, settlement, and treasury.
- Experience with treasury management, liquidity operations, cash movement, and reconciliation workflows.
- Knowledge of clearing and treasury workflows, trade lifecycle, reconciliation, settlement, operational controls, and escalation management.
- Experience in regulated financial services environments.
- Ability to create SOPs, process maps, controls documentation, and runbooks independently.
- Analytical skills and ability to work across business, compliance, finance, and technical functions.
- Experience at an FCM, clearinghouse, exchange, broker-dealer, or regulated fintech.
- Experience with futures, options, swaps, derivatives, or other exchange-traded products.
- Experience partnering with Product and Engineering on operational tooling, exception workflows, or controls infrastructure.
