Manager of Community Engagement

Position Overview:

The Manager of Community Engagement will ensure that the assigned duties and projects, as they relate to all aspects of business development, community outreach and engagement, will be carried out in support of the mission and goals of Ryan Health.

Essential Functions:

In consultation and collaboration with the Chief of Community Engagement and Strategic Partnerships, the Chief Operating Officer and the Health Center Directors, the Manager of Community Engagement will:

Direct, manage and coordinate outreach and engagement activities of Ryan Health, as identified.

Activities are to include, but are not limited to:

• Ryan Health’s Mobile Medical unit, manage and coordinate the schedule of where the unit will be located in new and existing markets
• Supervise the Mobile Medical Unit staff and ensure that their work is meaningful and helps achieve the defined goals
• Lead efforts to penetrate new markets and maintain presence in existing communities/populations.
• Manage, grow, and maintain referring accounts/organizations/community partners
• Partner with leadership and IT to help build and maintain a data and analytics platform (Salesforce)
• Supervise assigned AmeriCorps members, and volunteers, as appropriate, as it pertains to outreach and engagement activities.
• Schedule and manage outreach activities and events for the network
• Lead data collection, input, and analysis
• Trouble shoot issues and concerns
• Manage staff and staffing schedules
• Ensure that appropriate supplies are available
• Maintain and communicate an organizational calendar of all network activities and events
• Represent Ryan Health at community and stakeholders meetings, forums, and other events, as assigned

The Manager of Community Engagement will also lead efforts such as:

QI Projects, including but not limited to:

• Population Health
• Community/market trends and needs
• Provider Practice opportunities
