Manager of Patient Financial Services
Manager of Patient Financial Services
Run the revenue cycle today. Earn the Director seat tomorrow.
Oaklin Lane is hiring a Manager of Patient Financial Services to lead our Stewardship Guides and run the day-to-day revenue cycle for our growing network — a hands-on operator reporting to the Director of Clinical Operations, with a defined promotion path to Director of Patient Financial Services for the right leader.
On our Lane, you run the revenue cycle — and earn the next step
The best clinical care doesn’t reach families unless the revenue cycle behind it runs clean. At Oaklin Lane, we’ve built something worth protecting — a growing network of neighborhood pediatric therapy clinics delivering real outcomes for kids and families. As Manager of Patient Financial Services, you’ll lead our Stewardship Guides — the team running billing, claims, authorizations, and credentialing — and own the day-to-day performance of the full PFS function. You’ll report to the Director of Clinical Operations and partner closely with the clinical, Access, and Stewardship teams. This role has a defined runway: show leadership at this level, build the systems, and develop your team, and the seat as Director of Patient Financial Services is yours to earn.
About Oaklin Lane
Oaklin Lane is your neighborhood pediatric therapy clinic — a growing network of purpose-built clinics providing compassionate, expert care to kids from infancy through adolescence. We believe in evidence-backed therapy where hard work feels like play, and progress happens on each kid’s own terms.
What you’ll do
Lead, develop, and grow the Stewardship Guide team — Billing, Claims & Remittance, Authorizations, and Credentialing & Enrollment
Own day-to-day patient financial services execution across the organization — billing, collections, cash and denial posting, refunds, and charge capture
Ensure clean, timely claim submission across all payers — manage Medicaid billing systems, clearinghouses, Availity, and EVV systems
Run denial management end to end — root cause analysis, appeals, and process improvements that reduce denial rates over time
Track and report on revenue cycle KPIs — clean claim rate, denial rate, A/R days, net collections, and aging — and surface action plans weekly
Oversee payer credentialing and ensure every clinician is enrolled and current across all locations
Partner with the Director of Clinical Operations and the Access Pathway team to keep eligibility, authorizations, and documentation aligned with billing
Manage payer portal access, vendor relationships, and outsourced services — keeping risk, performance, and cost in check
Refine PFS policies, procedures, and playbooks that scale to every new clinic we open
Stay ahead of Medicaid policy updates, billing compliance requirements, and regulatory changes
Step up as the leader the Stewardship team trusts — coaching, growth conversations, hiring, and accountability
Why this role at Oaklin Lane
A space built for the work. Our clinics are purpose-built from the ground up for pediatric therapy. Designed for how kids actually move, play, and learn.
A team that shows up for each other. We celebrate progress, support each other, and create a place people genuinely want to be. That’s how culture works on our lane.
A pathway to grow. We invest in our clinicians — continued education, mentorship, and real opportunities to deepen your expertise. When you grow, our kids do too.
Work that carries beyond the clinic. Oaklin Lane is expanding access to pediatric therapy across a growing network of neighborhood clinics. The PFS function you run here is the financial backbone every new location will be built on — and the seat at the top of it (Director of Patient Financial Services) is the one you’re growing into.
