Manager of Prospect Research & Development Operations
The Morgan Library & Museum invites applications for the position of Manager of Prospect Research and Development Operations reporting to the Director of Membership and Development Operations. The Manager, a key member of the Development team, is responsible for conducting research on current and prospective individual, foundation, and corporate donors in support of the Morgan’s fundraising efforts, and for managing the overall operational efficiencies of the Development department.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and qualify potential major donors and determine high-level relationships, interests, and gift capacity.
- Respond to research requests from the Director and other key staff for donor stewardship and engagement.
- Maintain best practices in data management and assist members of the team in utilizing the donor database, including gift processing, updating contact information and notes, tracking of gifts, and other key donor information.
- With the Chief Advancement Officer and Director of Membership & Development Operations, establish best practices for the donor database.
- Collaborate with the Chief Advancement Officer and department Directors on utilizing data analytics to provide insights about the donor base, trends, and identify opportunities for potential cultivation and donor growth strategy.
- Assist the Director of Membership & Development Operations with the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of new technology tools or upgrades that can enhance fundraising capabilities, donor engagement, and revenue growth.
