Manager of Sales
Syringa Networks is looking for an experienced, people-focused Manager of our direct sales team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has proven they can develop sales talent, drive accountability, strengthen customer relationships, and build alignment across teams. The Manager of Sales will be responsible for helping the team achieve revenue goals while creating a consistent, disciplined, and collaborative sales experience.
You’ll work closely with Sales Desk, Customer Experience, Operations, and other internal teams to ensure opportunities move forward effectively and customer expectations are met from the initial sales conversation through implementation and ongoing support.
We’re looking for a proven leader who can balance sales performance, coaching, accountability, operational discipline, and strong cross-functional relationships.
What You’ll Do
· Lead, coach, and develop the direct sales team.
· Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for revenue performance, pipeline development, forecasting, follow-through, and CRM accuracy.
· Conduct regular one-on-ones, pipeline reviews, coaching conversations, and performance discussions.
· Help team members develop stronger sales skills, customer relationships, and opportunity strategies.
· Drive achievement of team sales and revenue goals.
· Monitor pipeline health, opportunity progression, win rates, and forecast accuracy.
· Identify stalled opportunities, pipeline gaps, and barriers to growth and help the team develop action plans.
· Support strategic customer conversations, account growth opportunities, and escalations when appropriate.
· Partner closely with Sales Desk on quoting, pricing, sales administration, and opportunity execution.
· Work jointly with Customer Experience to support strong customer transitions, retention, and relationship continuity.
· Collaborate with Operations to ensure customer expectations, timelines, and proposed solutions are achievable.
· Promote strong handoffs and communication across Sales, Sales Desk, Customer Experience, Operations, and other internal teams.
· Use sales data and performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
· Build a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
