About the Role

You will be responsible for translating Kia's global technology and cybersecurity strategies into effective local solutions. You will lead the management of enterprise networks, cybersecurity operations, infrastructure security, and related technology services while supporting business growth and operational excellence.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement IT security policies, standards, procedures, and controls in line with Kia global requirements and local regulatory obligations.

  • Manage and optimise enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, wireless networks, firewalls, VPNs, internet connectivity, and cloud networking services.

  • Lead cybersecurity operations including threat detection, vulnerability management, endpoint security, identity and access management, security monitoring, and incident response.

  • Ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and security of infrastructure services.

  • Lead security and network projects, including infrastructure upgrades, security enhancements, system implementations, and global initiatives.

  • Manage external vendors, managed service providers, and technology partners to ensure high-quality service delivery.

  • Drive business continuity and disaster recovery planning, testing, and operational readiness activities.

  • Identify and mitigate technology risks while ensuring timely response to security incidents and service disruptions.

  • Coordinate security audits, compliance reviews, risk assessments, and reporting activities.

  • Manage and continually improve security tools, controls, and technology platforms.

  • Develop and deliver cybersecurity awareness programs and promote a strong security culture across the business.

  • Oversee documentation, operational procedures, technical standards, and knowledge management processes.

  • Provide escalation support and regular reporting on operational performance, security risks, and improvement opportunities.

  • Assist with budget planning, forecasting, vendor management, and resource allocation for network and security operations.

About You

You are a proactive technology leader with a strong background in cybersecurity, enterprise networking, and infrastructure operations. You have a strategic mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to balance operational excellence with continuous improvement.

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in IT infrastructure, network management, and cybersecurity environments.

  • Strong experience managing enterprise network environments, including routing, switching, wireless technologies, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud networking.

  • Proven experience implementing and managing enterprise cybersecurity solutions including SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, identity and access management, and data protection technologies.

  • Demonstrated success delivering technology, network, or security projects from planning through to implementation.

  • Experience managing security incidents, compliance activities, audits, and risk assessments.

  • Strong vendor, managed service provider, and stakeholder management experience.

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Previous leadership or people management experience will be highly regarded.

  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP, CCNA, Security+, Azure Security Engineer, or equivalent are highly desirable.

  • Exposure to Microsoft 365, Azure, SAP, Salesforce, and other enterprise platforms will be advantageous.

  • Strong knowledge of information security principles including network security, endpoint protection, access management, vulnerability management, data protection, and incident response.

  • Strong understanding of governance, risk management, cyber resilience, and regulatory compliance frameworks.

  • Knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery practices.

  • The ability to lead through influence, communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
