This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Onboarding & Learning Experience based in the United States.

This leadership role is responsible for shaping and delivering onboarding and learning experiences for a large, operationally focused service environment.
You’ll own programs from strategy through execution, ensuring new hires and existing teams are equipped to perform effectively as products and processes evolve.
The role combines learning enablement, change management, communications, workforce planning, and disciplined program management.
You’ll coordinate closely with Operations, Workforce Management, Quality, Compliance, and other stakeholders to align priorities and execution.
You’ll also lead a small team, providing direction, coaching, feedback, and opportunities for professional growth.
Success will depend on your ability to translate complex changes into clear learning plans, communications, and practical resources delivered on schedule.
This is a fully remote opportunity with a collaborative, cross-functional environment and occasional travel of up to 20%.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the strategy and end-to-end execution of onboarding programs, including cohort planning, curriculum sequencing, certifications, readiness activities, and cross-functional alignment.
  • Develop learning enablement plans for product launches, process changes, and other initiatives affecting service center teams.
  • Partner with Workforce Management and Operations to align onboarding and training programs with staffing levels, capacity, operational constraints, and business priorities.
  • Conduct change-impact assessments to identify learning, communication, and workforce-readiness requirements.
  • Establish standards and strategies for learning communications, training rollouts, and operational engagement activities.
  • Develop and coordinate communication frameworks that ensure learning messages are clear, timely, consistent, and aligned across stakeholders.
  • Coordinate the rollout of training updates, job aids, desk resources, reinforcement activities, and other learning materials.
  • Own timelines, deliverables, approvals, dependencies, and handoffs across Learning, Operations, and support functions.
  • Serve as the central program-management point for onboarding and learning initiatives, maintaining visibility into milestones, risks, dependencies, and execution status.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Compliance teams to ensure learning programs and certifications meet documentation, quality, and audit expectations.
  • Provide regular program updates and recommendations to learning and development leadership.
  • Directly manage a small team through goal setting, prioritization, coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.
  • Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team and across cross-functional partnerships.
  • Leverage AI and technology applications where appropriate to improve communication effectiveness, learning delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as pharmaceuticals, life sciences, communications, business, learning and development, or a related field.
    • At least 6 years of experience in program management, onboarding, learning enablement, change management, organizational enablement, or a related area.
    • Demonstrated success managing complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple stakeholders, timelines, deliverables, and dependencies.
    • Experience supporting onboarding, training, workforce readiness, or learning initiatives in operational environments.
    • Strong planning and program coordination skills, including the ability to sequence activities, manage competing priorities, and maintain execution discipline.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, actionable messages and learning materials.
    • Strong stakeholder-management and relationship-building abilities, with the confidence to work across functions and influence without relying solely on authority.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Teams, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
    • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, frontline, or operational environments where priorities may change quickly.
    • Experience leading, coaching, or developing team members, with a demonstrated commitment to inclusive leadership and continuous development.
    • Preferred: Master’s degree and experience in pharmaceuticals, life sciences, healthcare, regulated environments, contact centers, or frontline operations.
    • Preferred: Background in learning and development, organizational enablement, operational communications, or change management.
    • Preferred: Experience using AI or technology solutions to optimize communications, learning programs, or operational workflows.
    • Benefits:

      • Fully remote: Work remotely from the United States.
      • Flexible work environment: Designed to support effective collaboration and flexibility in a distributed workforce.
      • Full-time employment: Standard full-time position with opportunities to lead high-impact onboarding and learning initiatives.
      • Leadership opportunity: Directly manage and develop a small team while influencing broader cross-functional programs.
      • Professional development: Opportunities to build leadership, program management, communication, and learning-enablement capabilities.
      • Purpose-driven work: Contribute to learning and readiness programs that support teams delivering important healthcare-related services.
      • Travel: Up to 20% travel may be required.
      • Inclusive workplace: Commitment to an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences.
