Manager - Partnership Monitoring

Job Title: Manager

  • Lead the end-to-end monitoring function, overseeing virtual and physical monitoring visits to training centers, and ensure timely, high-quality compliance reporting across assigned regions/verticals.
  • Own the planning, scheduling, and governance of the monitoring calendar, including prioritization of high-risk training partners and escalation of critical action points to senior management.
  • Guide and review the work of Senior Analysts/Analysts conducting virtual and field monitoring visits, ensuring consistency and quality of observations and reports.
  • Ensure monitoring and QA processes are aligned with course naming conventions, NSQF/QP codes, and NCVET/MSDE academic guidelines, and flag any deviations or mislabeling by training partners.
  • Validate and interpret training, assessment, and placement data against Market-Led Scheme guidelines, applying working knowledge of QP alignment, trainer eligibility norms, and Awarding Body/SSC requirements.
  • Design and refine monitoring frameworks, checklists, and SOPs to strengthen data accuracy, compliance tracking, and early detection of non-compliance.
  • Own KPI and scheme deliverable tracking through MIS reviews, and translate findings into structured recommendations for corrective and preventive action.
  • Identify systemic data discrepancies, operational gaps, and compliance risks across training partners, and drive resolution in coordination with internal teams and TPs.
  • Prepare and present dashboards, monitoring reports, and management presentations to senior leadership, incorporating trend analysis and policy-level insights.
  • Serve as the key point of contact for internal teams and training partners on data verification, issue resolution, and process improvement, ensuring escalations are handled with sound judgment.
  • Lead and support audits, evaluations, and impact assessments, ensuring monitoring outputs meet audit-readiness and academic compliance standards.
  • Mentor and build capability within the monitoring team, and contribute to policy inputs on course standards, trainer eligibility, and non-compliance frameworks.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Management, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Sound working knowledge of course naming conventions, NSQF/QP alignment, and NCVET/MSDE academic and regulatory guidelines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated ability to engage training partners, internal teams, and ministry-level counterparts.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data trends and translate them into actionable recommendations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with MIS/dashboarding tools preferred.
  • Work experience – Minimum 7–8 years, including prior experience in monitoring, quality assurance, or compliance functions within the skilling/education ecosystem.
