Qualification: Diploma / BE Mechanical

Desired Experience required: 18 to 20 years

Eligibility criteria for Internal applicants:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience required in the current role (mandatory)
• Employees should have performance rating of HVC and above in last 3 years

Key Skills Required:

• Good Knowledge of CNC programming & Operations.
• Responsible for Tool Design & Knowledge.
• GDNT / APQP / FMEA / SPC / MSA /
• Good ISO Knowledge Etc…

New products Process Design & Proving:

• Capacity planning
• Process design and development for machining
• Equipment selection, procurement and proving
• Design, development & proving of fixtures, cutting tools

• Design of cell layout
• Manpower estimation
• Process capability establishment
• Cell cycle time proving

New products Cell Formation & Proving:

• Cell formation
• Manpower deployment
• Process scrap establishment to < 0.5 %
• Standardization of tools, gauges and elements of fixtures
• Documentation of Process flow chart, Process FMEA, QCPC, Operation Standard, Process capability reports, Poka-Yoke reports, SMED reports

• Documentation of fixture drawings, tool drawings, gauge drawings, tool layouts
• TPM activities for KK
• Cell sign-off

New technology exploration:

• New technology concept’s introduction
• Bench marking the processes

Methods Improvement:

• Capacity enhancement
• Process technology development
• Tooling cost reduction
• New tooling concept’s introduction
• Process capability improvement
• Implementation of design changes
• PPAP activities for product variants
• Factory layout preparation and updation
• TS16949 activities
• TPM activities for KK

Productivity Improvement:

• Cell re-engineering for productivity improvement
• Low-cost automation for New & existing products
