Manager Process Engineering

Responsibilities

Technical & Engineering Excellence

  • Provide molding process technical governance and engineering standardization for co-man vendors.
  • To support co-man vendors to drive for improvements such as reduce throw-off, optimize the cycle time and improve output
  • Provide technical training to improve the technical molding skillsets
  • Enhance the Mold Qualification buy-off at vendor site and tool build vendor to improve the tool quality

Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide technical leadership and management for co-man vendors engineering team.
  • Work closely with Co-man Team, MOA Engineering Team, O/O plants & Co-man vendors
  • Build a structured team training system to upgrade the overall technical competency of process engineers.
  • Foster a high-execution technical team culture and cultivate independent problem-solving capabilities.

Cross-Functional Influence

  • Act as the core technical interface and key influencer across multi-functional teams including production, quality, engineering and tooling vendors.
  • Proactively align process standardization such as “Best Practice with O/O plants”

Budget Control

  • Manage the OH & deliver saving to the company

Culture & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish a LEAN culture and drive continuous improvement in daily activities

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For:

  • We are looking for a molding technical leader with deep expertise in injection molding engineering
  • Who can lead, coach and develop a team of process engineers in co-man vendors.
  • Who has a LEAN – minded leader to drive continuous improvemet in operation activities.
  • Able to identify improvement ideas and working with the team to implement the application in production run.

Experience, Education, & Skills:

  • Engineering Background with solid hand-on experience in Injection Molding Process.
  • Prefer to have Mattel working experience
  • Understand the Scientifix Molding Method and able to apply and setup the injection molding process
  • Strong communicate skills and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good Engkish specking and writing skills.
  • Strong problem solving skills, good communication skills and project management capacity
  • Who has a LEAN – minded leader to drive continuous improvemet in operation activities.
  • Able to identify improvement ideas and working with the team to implement the application in production run
