Manager - Procurement
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end sourcing process, including vendor selection, negotiation, contracting, and performance evaluation.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, with a particular focus on suppliers in China to ensure quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
Collaborate closely with merchandising, logistics, finance, and operations teams to align procurement activities with business needs.
Continuously evaluate supplier performance and drive initiatives for quality improvement, lead time reduction, and cost savings.
Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory requirements.
Lead, coach, and develop the procurement team to build capabilities and foster a high-performance culture.
Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply chain risks; proactively manage issues to mitigate business impact.
Drive sustainability and ethical sourcing initiatives in line with corporate responsibility objectives.
Requirements
Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in procurement.
Strong experience in sourcing from other countries.
Proven track record of cost reduction, process improvement, and vendor management.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
