Manager, Product Development

Job description:

• Leads the design tech pack communication to vendors, technician team to start product development.
• Develops new material, including leather, fabric, hardware, and all accessories.
• Monitors and corrects sampling outcome to meet design intent.
• Manages all delivery and timing needs for all prototypes in development, salesman and pilot production.
• Participated in product hand over to Production and QA team.
• Capable to partner with vendors, design, QA, and production team to explore solution for problems.
• Organizes material and product testing to ensure both meet quality and testing specifications.
• Cost validation and applies cost engineering where needed to meet price targets.
• Prepare reports on time to analyses the material and product development tracking.

Requirement:

• Min 10 years merchandising experience, at least 5 years in luggage and handbag. Experience in product development is preferably.
• Willing to travel to China and Southeast Asia countries.
• Mature, self-motivated, and strong sense of responsibility.
• Good communication skills in English & Mandarin.
