Manager Production Control & Logistics supports, directs and administers activities within Production Control and Logistics departments. Responsibility of this position include development of accurate and executable production schedules, managing inventory, warehousing, logistics, and oversight of material presentation/availability that maximize production efficiencies.

What will your main scope be?

• Establishes Master Schedule Requirements in support of company needs. Directs order generation, capacity planning, shortage control and inventory planning.
• Responsible for all warehouse, logistics, and shipping / receiving functions of the organization.
• Facilitate corporate SIOP process working with senior leadership and their direct reports to create long term business plans
• Own inquiry process for making Aircraft Order changes across all products – coordinate with all functions to put cost and schedule impact together for all areas of production
• Schedules aircraft completions processes to optimize stacking and delivery needs
• Responsible for developing long range and short-term plans, objectives and budgets to assure accurate and economical controls and procedures necessary to support ERP, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing and Supply Chain requirements. Develops and maintains related metrics.
• Assists Operations/Supply Chain in defining problem areas such as bottlenecks, capacity constraints, or parts shortage issues affecting production, and recommends alternative work plans for schedule changes. Drives continuous improvement for long term resolution of issues.
• Develops and maintains organization structures and qualified staff to assure optimum functional effectiveness of the various departments.
• Provides effective communication of critical issues to Cross Functional Leadership Team.

What do we expect from the candidate?

• Bachelor's Degree Required
• At least 8 years’ experience required in a production related environment.
o Direct relationship to Production Control & Logistics preferred.
• Prior experience in leading and managing people.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Fluency in English Language
• Ability to tactfully influence and persuade in order to interface effectively over a broad range of company functions
• Ability to communicate with ascending levels of management
• Experience in Warehousing and Logistics
• ERP/MRP knowledge
• Proficient in MS Office products
