What are your contributions to the team?
- Lead execution of new product/larger development programs, from concept through delivery for engineering work packages
- Lead multi-disciplinary teams to meet technical, schedule, and cost requirements.
- Drive execution in highly dynamic and uncertain environments, ensuring adaptability while maintaining engineering discipline and governance.
- Identify risks and opportunities, proactively implementing mitigation and recovery plans to drive successful outcomes.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within project teams.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to project engineering team, strengthening organizational capability.
- Foster strong communication across all levels of the organization, ensuring transparency and alignment with stakeholders.
How to thrive in this role?
· You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline. Aerospace specialty is an asset.
· You have a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience working with multidisciplinary and technically complex projects in the Aerospace industry with at least three (10) years of supervisory experience.
· You have knowledge of design tools.
· You have knowledge of the change management process.
· You have experience in multi-disciplinary designs.
· You have knowledge of manufacturing methods.
· You have strong people management and leadership qualities with an ability to mobilize and foster an environment of teamwork within cross-functional teams facilitating discussions and resolving issues to meet the business objectives.
· You have demonstrated leadership behaviors that support putting people first, work in teams, value teamwork, and drive for performance excellence while exhibiting a winning attitude.
· You are proactive, results orientated and innovative with a view for business improvement.
· You have strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and build consensus without formal authority.
· You must be fluent in English and French.
