Your Role as Manager – Value Management Office
You will play a dual role across strategy and operations, supporting the development of value frameworks while ensuring their practical application across WMQ. Leading a team of professionals, this role connects strategic intent with execution by ensuring that investment decisions, programs, and initiatives are governed, measured, and continuously refined based on performance insights.
Lead, develop and mentor the VMO team, setting clear accountabilities and performance expectations.
Contribute to the development and ongoing management of the Value Management Strategy through analysis, insight and continuous improvement.
Lead the planning, coordination and monitoring of the project and asset portfolio, ensuring initiatives align with organisational priorities and deliver agreed outcomes.
Provide targeted leadership and support to priority and high-risk initiatives, driving planning, problem-solving and recovery actions to achieve successful delivery.
Ensure strong governance across initiatives, including stage gates, approvals, documentation standards and reporting requirements.
Partner with business units and stakeholders to strengthen delivery capability, improve consistency and embed best-practice delivery approaches.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and stakeholders, providing guidance on governance, delivery methodologies and value realisation.
Drive reporting and delivery maturity, advancing insight-led and predictive performance reporting while continuously improving methodologies, tools and governance practices.

What We’re Looking For
Demonstrated experience in project management, including leadership experience of project portfolios or OPMOs, with the ability to manage complex and concurrent projects across multiple business units
Strong knowledge of project and portfolio management methodologies, governance frameworks, and lifecycle processes.
Demonstrated experience in benefits realisation, supported by strong commercial acumen and the ability to optimse investments and deliver value uplift initiatives.
Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience in change management and organisational transformation initiatives

Formal training /certification in Benefits Realisation.
Essential Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Certification in project management (e.g., AGILE, PRINCE2, PMBOK, or equivalent).
Proof of COVID-19 vaccination status (or as required by legislation and WMQ policy)
Relevant probity checks required by legislation and WMQ Limited policy.
Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel for work
