Manager - Projects

Key Responsibilities Project Execution & Coordination
  • Execute healthcare infrastructure projects including hospitals, specialty centers, diagnostic facilities, and ancillary healthcare buildings.
  • Monitor project schedules and ensure adherence to approved timelines.
  • Coordinate civil, structural, MEP, interiors, and medical infrastructure activities.
  • Track project progress and proactively address execution challenges.
Design & Technical Management
  • Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and BOQs.
  • Coordinate with architects, healthcare planners, consultants, and contractors.
  • Ensure compliance with operational and functional requirements of healthcare facilities.
Project Monitoring & Reporting
  • Prepare project progress reports, dashboards, and MIS for management review.
  • Track project milestones, deliverables, and key performance indicators.
  • Support risk identification and implementation of mitigation measures.
Cost & Budget Control
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures.
  • Review contractor bills, work certifications, and variation orders.
  • Support value engineering and cost optimization initiatives.
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
  • Liaise with internal departments including Procurement, Finance, Operations, Biomedical Engineering, and Facilities Management.
  • Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and vendors for smooth project execution.
  • Ensure timely resolution of site-related issues.
Quality, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, project specifications, and healthcare regulations.
  • Monitor implementation of EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) standards at project sites.
  • Support statutory approvals and healthcare compliance requirements.
Testing, Commissioning & Handover
  • Coordinate testing and commissioning of building systems and medical infrastructure.
  • Ensure project completion, snag closure, and smooth handover to operations teams.
  • Support transition from project phase to facility operations.
Educational Qualification
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering.
  • Certification in Project Management, Construction Management, or Primavera P6 will be preferred.
Experience
  • 8–12 years of experience in infrastructure, healthcare, commercial, or large-scale building projects.
  • Preferably 3–5 years of experience in hospital or healthcare infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in managing contractors, consultants, project schedules, and site execution.
