Manager (Property Management)
The Job
- Manage one or more estates/properties and ensure quality property management services are delivered in accordance with HKHS policies, lease conditions, Deed of Mutual Covenant and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Oversee day-to-day estate operations, including customer enquiries, complaint handling and communication with tenants, owners and other stakeholders.
- Supervise estate staff and contractors to ensure proper maintenance, timely completion of repair and improvement works, and effective handling of emergencies.
- Prepare estate budgets, management reports and recommendations to support management review and continuous service improvement.
- Handle tenancy and estate management matters, including arrears, breaches of tenancy conditions and other complex cases, with appropriate follow-up actions.
- Process and screen applicants for all non-domestic letting to check for eligibility and accuracy of information for review and Senior’s review and approval.
- Attend and support meetings with owners’ committees, mutual aid committees, incorporated owners, District Council members and other relevant parties as required.
- Coach and develop subordinates, and ensure effective implementation of service standards and integrated management systems.
The Person
- Possess a professional qualification in Housing Management, such as MCIH, MHKIH or RPHM.
- Hold a valid Property Management Practitioner Licence.
- Have at least 8 years of relevant experience in property management, including a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrate sound business sense and good judgement in handling estate management matters.
- Be service-oriented, with strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to liaise and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at different levels.
