As a Manager, Real Estate Project at ICON, you will manage facilities management activities, supporting your team and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes across our clinical programmes.

What You Will Do:

Your focus will be on coordinating facilities and workplace management delivery, resolving issues, and developing team capability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the end-to-end management of real estate projects, including site selection, lease negotiations, design and construction management, and occupancy planning.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including operations, finance, legal, and HR teams, to understand business requirements and develop real estate strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Conducting feasibility studies, financial analysis, and due diligence to evaluate potential real estate opportunities and make informed recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Managing external consultants, brokers, architects, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery while maintaining quality standards.
  • Overseeing the development of project budgets, schedules, and performance metrics to track progress and ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for landlord relations, tenant improvements, and lease administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Your Profile:

You will have solid facilities and workplace management experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.

Required qualifications and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, business, or a related discipline
  • Proven experience in real estate project management, preferably in commercial real estate or corporate real estate management.
  • Strong understanding of real estate development processes, including site acquisition, entitlements, design, construction, and occupancy.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience in lease negotiations, contract management, and vendor relations.
  • Strong financial acumen, with the ability to develop and manage project budgets, perform financial analysis, and assess investment opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing demands, and drive results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required (approximately 30%).
