As a Manager - Record to Report (RTR) - Finance Operations, you will collaborate with CFOs and finance teams to transform finance functions, enhancing efficiency and control in financial reporting. Within our Finance practice, you will lead assessments of clients' finance operations, identify improvement opportunities, and implement digital solutions to optimize processes. This role involves working closely with clients to design future-state processes and drive initiatives for simplification and standardization across global finance functions.
As a Manager, you will guide and develop teams, manage client accounts, and deliver strategic planning and mentoring to junior staff. You are accountable for project success, maintaining standards, and inspiring others to deliver quality. You will leverage your business knowledge to identify opportunities that contribute to the success of our firm. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will lead the implementation of technology solutions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Leading finance strategy and process transformation initiatives to optimize Record to Report processes
- Guiding assessments and diagnostics of clients' Controllership functions to identify inefficiencies and control gaps
- Designing future-state processes aligned with automation opportunities and leading practices
- Driving simplification, standardization, and centralization initiatives across global finance functions
- Implementing and optimizing digital finance tools such as BlackLine, Trintech, and Floqast
- Collaborating with technology teams to define system requirements and support testing
- Leveraging analytics, RPA, and AI-based solutions to enhance financial reporting accuracy and efficiency
- Improving financial close cycle timelines and reconciliation processes
- Acting as a trusted advisor to client CFOs and Controllers, coordinating with cross-functional teams
- Preparing and delivering presentations and reports for leadership reviews
- Mentoring junior team members and supporting their development through training and feedback
- Contributing to firm-wide knowledge creation and methodologies for finance transformation projects
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8+ years of experience
- At least one of the following: Certified Public Accountant
- Oral and written proficiency in English required
