About the Role
As a Regulatory Manager, you will be part of EY’s Tax Practice, supporting clients with compliance responsibilities, penalty avoidance, tax planning, and regulatory advisory. The role offers opportunities for teaming, leadership, and career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on regulatory and tax advisory engagements and contribute to innovative tax and regulatory planning solutions.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research and assess the impact of legislative and regulatory changes.
- Develop recommendations and solution implementation plans for complex compliance issues.
- Support business development and identify opportunities for refund and recovery services.
- Apply indirect tax knowledge to client situations and maintain effective client relationships.
- Draft tax alerts on legislative and regulatory changes, policy statements, and judgements.
- Coordinate training and capacity-building activities on compliance and regulatory developments.
- Identify and escalate compliance risks and monitor agreed corrective actions.
- Manage clients’ compliance obligations and support timely regulatory filings.
- Support clients in obtaining necessary licences, liaising with regulators, and updating policies.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years of relevant regulatory compliance or equivalent business/industry experience.
- Excellent managerial, organizational, and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced professional services environment.
- Mature, proactive, committed, highly motivated, and driven team player.
- Strong regulatory compliance skills and ability to support complex tax and regulatory obligations.
