Job Summary
You will lead strategic partnerships and deliver impactful programmes for the F&B ecosystem. This role involves managing sponsorships, government collaborations, and flagship events to advance industry growth and innovation.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, negotiate, and secure corporate sponsorships and vendor partnerships with F&B suppliers, POS/tech providers, payment gateways, and delivery platforms to enhance commercial alliances.
- Collaborate with government agencies and industry bodies to implement sector-wide digitalization, capability-building, and sustainability initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with F&B business owners, restaurant groups, and stakeholders to identify sector challenges and deliver tailored partnership solutions.
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of flagship industry programmes, awards, masterclasses, and trade networking sessions to elevate industry standards.
- Coordinate joint workshops and seminars on key industry topics such as manpower optimization, kitchen automation, sustainability, and digital transformation to build sector capabilities.
- Oversee project deliverables, manage programme budgets, and track key performance metrics including merchant participation, sponsor ROI, and post-event engagement to ensure successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal marketing and communications teams to boost event participation, partner visibility, and industry awareness campaigns.
- Facilitate F&B working committees, taskforces, and advisory panels to align ecosystem interests and drive collective industry advancement.
Required competencies and certifications
- Experience managing partnerships, trade association programmes, event management, or business development within F&B, hospitality, or retail sectors (3–5 years).
- Strong understanding of Singapore’s F&B, hospitality, or retail landscape, including market challenges and government support frameworks.
- Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills demonstrated through managing multi-stakeholder partnerships.
- Proven project management skills with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
