Manager, Revenue Management

Your Purpose
As the Manager of Revenue Management, you will be responsible for maximizing revenue, overseeing inventory management processes, conducting ad hoc and long-term analyses, leading two revenue management analysts, and maintaining the systems that support overall revenue operations. A key part of your role will be forecasting and analyzing revenue performance, ensuring accurate reporting and performance tracking. You will also collaborate with the pricing team to implement new strategies based on your findings, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

Reporting to the Director of Pricing & Revenue Management, this role will lead a team of revenue management analysts and work closely with Pricing, Marketing, Sales, Rail Operations, and Technology teams to support revenue, ridership, and overall financial performance objectives.

This is a hybrid position based in Downtown Miami, with in-office work Monday through Thursday and remote work on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

Work cross-functionally with the Data and Analytics team on system configuration, inventory automation processes, and reporting enhancements.
Regularly report key KPIs and progress against initiatives to senior leadership.
Lead the continued development and refinement of revenue management best practices, including training for internal teams and third-party solution providers.
Collaborate with marketing, finance, data science, operations, partnerships, and other stakeholders to drive overall revenue performance and champion continuous improvement across the business.
Validate reports and data at different levels of granularity to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Maintain accurate inventory configuration for different demand seasons
Partner with distribution and pricing teams to ensure connectivity with partners supporting future distribution growth.
Coordinate with the technology team on product change implementations, which may require occasional late-night product releases.
Provide frequent performance updates to key stakeholders, including senior leadership, ensuring alignment on revenue management objectives.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; combination of relevant education and work experience considered in lieu of degree
5+ years of experience in pricing and revenue management preferred
2+ years of experience with day-to-day usage of a revenue management system preferred
Airline, hotel, cruise, rental car, or other demand-based revenue management experience preferred

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Strong leadership and people development skills
Experience working with revenue management systems, processes, and automation with a solid understanding of demand forecasting and optimization
Proficient in SQL, Excel, and PowerPoint required; experience with Python, R, or similar languages preferred
Knowledgeable in revenue management systems, demand forecasting, and optimization types with a proven track record of delivering continuous improvements
Thorough understanding of revenue management fundamentals beyond core yield management with experience collaborating between multiple groups to drive revenue production
Demonstrates consistent deductive skills; strong critical thinking skills; curiosity
Eye for identifying the need for process improvements and the ability to translate into a detailed and thoughtful action plan
Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with ATPCO, Amadeus, Sabre, and other distribution partners
Advanced proficiency with SQL, Python, R, Alteryx, Tableau, or other analytics tools
MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative or analytical discipline
Prior pricing implementation experience in the airline, transportation, or travel industry
Familiarity with ticketing reservation systems, such as S3, and revenue management or inventory platforms
