Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Design & Technology team, including engineers, designers, and technical staff.
• Develop and implement design and technology strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Oversee the design, development, testing, and implementation of products, systems, or engineering solutions.
• Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Manage design projects from concept and prototyping through testing, production, and implementation.
• Ensure designs are practical, manufacturable, cost-effective, safe, and compliant with applicable standards and regulations.
• Identify opportunities for product improvement, innovation, automation, and new technology adoption.
• Coordinate with production, operations, procurement, quality, sales, and other departments on technical requirements.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, contractors, and external consultants on technical and design matters.
• Evaluate technical proposals, materials, equipment, and new technologies.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, resources, and technical deliverables.
• Investigate technical problems, design failures, and production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain engineering/design standards, procedures, and documentation.
• Ensure proper management of CAD drawings, technical specifications, BOMs, and design records.
• Mentor and develop team members and provide technical guidance.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, project updates, budgets, and management presentations.
