Manager, Sales Operations & Analytics
Job Summary
The Manager, Sales Operations & Analytics is responsible for driving sales effectiveness through sales performance management, business analytics, CRM governance, process optimization, and sales operations support. The role partners closely with Sales Leadership to provide actionable insights, forecasting, performance reporting, and operational support that enable revenue growth and informed decision-making.
Working across Sales, Business IT, Product, Operations, Finance, and HR, the incumbent will support sales process improvements, CRM adoption, automation initiatives, and commercial reporting while ensuring accurate tracking of sales performance, achievement, and commission-related data.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Performance Management & Analytics
- Manage sales performance tracking and reporting, including revenue, pipeline, forecast, quota attainment, conversion rates, and sales productivity metrics.
- Support Sales Leadership with sales forecasting, target setting, pipeline reviews, and business planning activities.
- Prepare management and board reports, dashboards, business reviews, and presentations with meaningful performance insights and recommendations.
- Analyze sales trends, risks, opportunities, and market performance to support strategic decision-making and business growth.
Sales Operations & CRM Management
- Manage and continuously improve sales operational processes to enhance productivity, governance, and customer experience.
- Serve as the business owner and administrator for CRM and sales-related systems, ensuring data integrity, process compliance, and user adoption.
- Develop and maintain sales reports, KPI dashboards, sales funnel visibility, and executive scorecards.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of commercial data across sales systems and reporting platforms.
Process Improvement & Automation
- Partner with Business IT and cross-functional stakeholders to improve and automate sales processes and customer-facing workflows.
- Gather business requirements, provide operational inputs, validate proposed solutions, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Support system enhancements, CRM optimisation, user training, and adoption initiatives to improve operational efficiency and customer experience.
Sales Commission & Commercial Governance
- Partner with HR, Finance, and Sales Leadership to validate sales achievements and performance data for incentive and commission calculations.
- Ensure accurate tracking of bookings, revenue attribution, sales targets, and achievement records.
- Support governance, audit, and compliance requirements relating to sales operations and incentive administration.
Order & Revenue Operations
- Monitor the sales order lifecycle from order creation through service delivery and billing readiness.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, and Finance teams to support timely fulfilment, invoicing, and revenue realization.
- Track delivery milestones and resolve operational issues impacting customer commitments or revenue recognition.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Telecommunications, Information Systems, Analytics, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, or Sales Enablement.
- Experience supporting B2B Telecommunications, ICT, Technology, Cloud, Managed Services, or Enterprise Sales organizations.
- Proven experience in sales performance reporting, forecasting, CRM administration, business analytics, and process improvement.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders to support system enhancements, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
- Proficient in CRM platforms, sales reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Advanced Excel and Power BI/Tableau skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-driven with a continuous improvement and problem-solving mindset.
