Unleash the Roar! (UTR!) − is a national movement which aims to raise the levels of Singapore football, build strong support systems to nurture our next generation of talents and rally the nation behind the shared dream. It is a long-term, whole-of-society effort covering grassroots development, elite youth pathways, infrastructure and community / fan engagement.
Reporting to the Coach Development & Scouting Team Lead, your key job responsibilities are detailed below. You will also be required to support other UTR! teams / initiatives during peak periods when necessary.
Job Description:
Football Development
· Support the analysis and implementation of the technical plans that relate to the Zonal Concept, the National Development Centre (NDC), Scholarships, Coaching Attachments and the Associate Partner’s Scheme.
· Support engagements with key technical stakeholders such as Football Association of Singapore (FAS), Asian Football Confederation (AFC), Asian Football Federation (AFF), as well as local and overseas clubs.
· Support the planning and implementation of key projects such as the Coaches Convention, Football Conversations as well as other key UTR! events and engagements.
· Conduct regular landscape scanning of the overseas and local football scene and support the administration of learning journeys and stakeholder engagements.
· Support the implementation of the improvements/changes to the talent identification and monitoring system.
· Support the execution of the talentidentification and monitoring system.
· Support the execution of Coaching Development and Talent Scouting initiatives.
Project Management & Administration
· Drive the project management effort that progress UTR! Football Technical division’s key projects and initiatives.
· Provide administrative support to the UTR! Football Technical division.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above sport management, business administration or related field. Diploma holders are welcome to apply; renumeration / package will commensurate with candidates’ qualifications and experience.
- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience.
- Detail-oriented and results-driven.
- Business acumen and collaborative mindset.
- Culturally sensitive and open minded to diverse views.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects, competing timelines / deliverables simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Customer service orientation and collaborative in mindset.
- Can work independently and have problem solving skills and ability to navigate in ambiguous and dynamic work environment.
- Passion for sport (football), integrity, and a strong commitment to UTR!’s vision and mission as the national project for football.
- Certification in coaching (i.e. AFC C, B or A licenses) is an advantage
- This job might require working on weekends and/or travelling when necessary.
