Manager/ Senior Engineer - Database

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain database management systems (DBMS)

• Plan, implement, configure and administrate database

• Perform database upgrade, patching, administration and migration

• Evaluate and implement automation to improve the patching, capacity monitoring, configuration management and data backup/recovery management

• Assist to plan the enhancement and refreshment of related technology infrastructure

• Enforce and execute problem and change management procedures.

• Support the Disaster Recovery Strategy

• Act as infrastructure focal point to support the implementation of business application systems

• Database Backup Policy setting and execution

• Oversee recruitment and supervision of the Data Team

Job Specifications

• At least 8 years’ experience in database architecture, upgrades and migration

• Solid working experience in database administration

• Familiar with shell scripting is an advantage

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; Good command of Cantonese and Mandarin.
