Manager/ Senior Manager, IT Application Development

Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate information flow between business and technology teams to ensure the successful delivery of IT projects.

• Manage, monitor, and coordinate in-house developers and external vendors to carry out system development, maintenance, and support.

• Monitor and track the progress of IT projects, identify risks and issues, and propose mitigation strategies.

• Support system releases and implementation.

• Prepare relevant system documents and specifications.

• Comply with security policy, audit requirements, regulatory requirements, and relevant company policies and procedures when carrying out all duties.

• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify business opportunities and areas for improvement.

• 促進業務和技術團隊之間的信息交流，確保 IT 的項目能夠成功交付。

• 管理、監督和協調內部開發人員和供應商，進行系統開發、維護和支持。

• 監控和跟蹤 IT 項目的進度，識別風險和問題，並提出解決方案。

• 支持系統發佈與實施工作。

• 準備系統相關的文件和需求規格說明。

• 執行所有職責時，遵守安全政策、審計要求、監管要求和相關的公司政策和程序。

• 進行市場調研與分析同業，以尋找改善業務的機會。

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.

• More than 5 years of relevant working experience, including experience in the Insurance industry.

• Practical experience in Java, Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL, HTML, CSS, JS, and JSP is an advantage.

• Experience in insurance administration systems, sales platforms, or mobile App development is a plus.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and in a team environment.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Proficient in both verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese, Mandarin).

• Candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Manager, IT Application Development

• Immediate Available is an advantage

• 持有信息技術或計算機科學或相關專業的學士或同等學歷。

• 5年以上的相關工作經驗，包括保險業的經驗。

• 具備 Java, Oracle/MSSQL/MySQL, HTML, CSS, JS 和 JSP 等方面的經驗者優先。

• 有保險管理系統、銷售平台或移動 App 開發經驗者優先。

• 具備優秀的分析、解決問題和溝通能力。

• 能夠獨立工作和團隊合作。

• 注重細節，具備出色的組織和時間管理技巧。

• 具備良好的英語和中文（粵語、普通話）溝通能力。
