Manager - SEO
ixigo is looking for a Manager - SEO with extensive experience in Search Engine Optimization, App Store Optimization, Content Strategy & Generative Engine Optimization. This person would be responsible for the creation and optimization of the organic traffic acquisition strategy for ixigo.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and executing the strategy for SEO, ASO & GEO while working in close cooperation with Tech and Content Team. This would typically entail:
A. On-page Optimization
Site Structure Analysis, Competition Analysis, Keyword Research
Keyword Finalization, Keyword Density Analysis, and Placement
Existing Web Content Optimization, HTML Validation
Creation of XML Site map, Keyword Difficulty
Content Development Check, Brief Keyword Competition Review
Tags, Anchor Text
B. Off-page Optimization
Directory Submission, Article Submission, Press Release Submission
Link building, Social Media Optimization
C. App Store Optimization
Store Listing Experiments to increase conversion & Installs
Keyword Ranking in Play Store & App Store
D. Generative Engine Optimization
Increase Mentions & Traffic from ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.
Identifying new SEO clusters to drive traffic and create brand awareness for ixigo
Blogger outreach for guest blogging
Managing in-house and outsourced teams and activities, tracking and monitoring their performance
At least an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics.
5+ years of experience in SEO & ASO in the e-Commerce domain.
In-depth experience with Google Analytics, Clevertap & App Analytics tools (Adjust, Firebase, etc.)
Ability to “go down in the trenches” while solving problems
An ability to identify & solve new business opportunities through the ideation of new products.
Hands-on with AI platforms & tools to automate reporting & mundane tasks
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work within a marketing team, and work with other departments.
Responsible for safeguarding sensitive company data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, and for reporting any suspected security incidents in line with the organization's ISMS (Information Security Management System) policies and procedures.
