Manager, Service Desk and End User Computing (Canberra or Sydney)

Your new role

We're looking for an experienced technology leader to join our Transformation and Technology team as Manager, Service Desk & End User Computing. This is an opportunity to lead critical customer-facing technology services that support our people across office, remote and cloud environments, while shaping the future of end-user technology at CSC.

Play a key leadership role in driving service excellence, continuous improvement, technology modernisation and strong customer outcomes, while fostering a high-performing and engaged team culture.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the Service Desk and End User Computing teams
• Oversee service desk operations and end-user technology services
• Monitor service performance and drive continuous improvement
• Manage escalations and support major incident response
• Shape CSC's end-user technology standards and roadmap
• Oversee technology asset, configuration and knowledge management
• Manage budgets, vendors and key service provider relationships
• Strengthen risk, audit and compliance outcomes
• Identify opportunities to improve technology services and the employee experience

What you’ll need to excel
• ITIL Foundation Course, essential
• Tertiary qualification or certification in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of relevant knowledge, training and/or experience, desired
• Leadership experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in maintaining finances e.g. Budgets/Contracts
• Experience in IT service management and ITIL best practices
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, telecommunications, end-user technologies and cloud services
• Understanding of IT security, virtual desktop and device management solutions
• Experience improving systems, processes and service delivery outcomes
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
