# Manager - Site Merchandising & Analytics ## Company Overview *Not specified.* ## Job Summary We are seeking a **data-driven Site Merchandising & Analytics professional** to oversee end-to-end website merchandising, conversion optimization, and revenue growth planning across multiple platforms. This role operates at the intersection of **business strategy, analytics, and cross-functional execution**, with responsibilities spanning demand planning, top-line revenue, and funnel optimization. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing comprehensive **Annual Operating Plans (AOP)** and analyzing SKU-level data to drive continuous improvement and maximize revenue. ## Responsibilities - **Website Merchandising (End-to-End):** - Own on-site merchandising strategies across platforms, including homepage, category, and landing page curation, banner planning, navigation, and collection strategies. - Ensure merchandising calendars align with festive, seasonal, and ongoing campaigns. - Maintain catalog hygiene through accurate pricing, product tagging, category mapping, and search/filter relevance. - **Festive & Seasonal Demand Planning:** - Lead demand forecasting for major festive and seasonal periods such as Diwali, Valentine’s Day, Rakhi, Christmas, and Mother’s Day, focusing on YoY growth. - Collaborate with buying and category teams to translate forecasts into inventory and catalog readiness plans. - Track post-season performance and incorporate insights into future forecasts. - **Data Analytics, Reporting & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):** - Manage website analytics reporting covering traffic, conversion, revenue, Average Order Value (AOV), and funnel drop-offs across all platforms. - Design and execute conversion optimization initiatives, funnel audits, and UX experiments. - Develop dashboards and recurring reports (daily/weekly/monthly) to provide leadership with business health insights. - **Annual Operating Plan (AOP) & Growth Strategy:** - Develop the yearly AOP for all channels, setting targets for conversion, traffic, and revenue. - Identify and prioritize growth levers such as pricing, UX, catalog, marketing funnel, and retention strategies. - Monitor execution against the AOP and adjust strategies based on performance data. - **Cross-Functional Coordination:** - Collaborate with category teams on curation, price-gap analysis, and catalog improvements. - Work with product and UX teams to identify UI/UX enhancements to improve conversion rates. - Coordinate with tech teams to log, prioritize, and resolve front-end issues impacting site experience or conversion. - Act as a bridge between business goals and execution teams, ensuring alignment on priorities and timelines. - **Performance Monitoring & Catalog Lifecycle Management:** - Track daily conversion metrics at SKU, page, and site levels; flag anomalies and act swiftly. - Manage product lifecycle by phasing out non-performing SKUs and emphasizing top performers. - Maintain a feedback loop between performance data and merchandising decisions. - **Additional Responsibilities:** - Conduct competitive benchmarking on merchandising, pricing, and UX practices. - Oversee or partner on on-site search and personalization/recommendation performance. - Collaborate with paid marketing teams to align landing pages and offers. - Coordinate with retention/CRM teams to ensure on-site experience complements lifecycle marketing. - Manage merchandising parity across mobile app and mobile web platforms, if applicable. ## Qualifications - Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred. - 10+ years of experience in **e-commerce, D2C, or digital business roles**, with a focus on **merchandising, growth, or analytics**. - Strong analytical skills with proficiency in dashboards, funnel data, cohort, and SKU-level analysis. - Working knowledge of **web analytics tools** such as Google Analytics/GA4, MixPanel, Microsoft BI, or similar. - Excellent stakeholder management skills to align cross-functional teams. - Strong business acumen, capable of linking merchandising and UX decisions to revenue outcomes. - Advanced proficiency in **Excel/Google Sheets**. - Prior experience in **demand planning/forecasting**, especially in seasonal or festive-heavy businesses. - Experience managing or owning a **P&L-linked metric** (conversion, revenue, or growth target). - Experience working with product/UX and tech teams in an **agile environment** is a plus. ## Preferred Skills - Knowledge of on-site search and personalization/recommendation systems. - Experience with mobile app/web merchandising parity. - Familiarity with paid and performance marketing strategies. - Strong problem-solving and prioritization skills, capable of balancing strategic planning with day-to-day execution. ## Experience - **10+ years** of relevant experience in e-commerce, D2C, or digital growth roles. - Proven track record of managing **P&L metrics** such as revenue, conversion, or growth targets. - Experience working closely with product, UX, and technology teams in an agile setting. ## Environment - The role is based in **Mumbai**. - The work environment involves **collaborative cross-functional teams** including category, product, tech, marketing, and CRM. - The position may require coordination across multiple platforms and channels, with a focus on **digital and e-commerce environments**.
