Inviting applications for the role of Manager- Site Reliability Engineering Lead
In this role, the Infrastructure Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Lead is responsible for leading a team of SREs in the implementation, and operation of the company's infrastructure. The SRE Lead will work closely with other Automation/Build engineering / Change Managem e nt teams to ensure that the company's infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure. The SRE Lead will also be responsible for implementing and supporting new SRE practices and tools.
Responsibilities
- Overall, experience in IT Infrastructure Management Services, Service Delivery Management, IT Operation Management, Project Management, Multi Cloud Delivery Management, Transitioning IT services and Account Management
- Work with Automation /DevOps , Change Management and ensure all the Automations / Configuration items are moved with Steady State for BAU operations
- Governance with team to ensure all incidents on the post build /implemented automations are effectively addressed/ remediated as per the agreed SLAs
- Identify opportunities to continuously streamline and Develop automations to minimize incidents
- Lead a team of SREs in the implementation, and operation of the IT infrastructure
- Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure that the IT infrastructure is reliable, scalable, and secure
- Develop, implement and monitor new SRE practices and tools
- Develop and maintain documentation for the automations / infrastructure
- Works with compliance team to ensure Compliance Dashboards are Green for the IT infrastructure
- Work with SNOW tool & Automation team to identify & implement the solution which help for service improvement
- Mentor and train other SRs
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a major in IT or a related quantitative field
- Experience with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Proficiency with Python and basic libraries for machine learning such as scikit-learn and pandas.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools
- Experience with incident response and remediation
- Experience with automation tools
- Strong process orientation, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Any Cloud / DevOps Certification
- Any exposure to AI/ML
