Manager/Snr Section Manager, Industrial Engineering
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day leadership in execution of key initiatives in the functional industrial engineering areas.
- Coach engineers in execution of daily tasks in Industrial Engineering functions.
- Identify improvement areas within the capacity & productivity planning functions and drive necessary enhancements.
- Drives Capacity roadmap that enables to consistent growth in revenue and growth.
- Responsible for factory capacity and productivity planning.
- Complete capacity scenario analysis to identify performance requirements and/or future capital needs.
- Ensure execution of committed long-term growth plans and drive gap closure to commitments.
- Communicate and liaise with factory production planning and factory management on tactical factory loading commitments.
- Benchmark with best-in-class fabs and implement best knowledge methods to improve current processes.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with strong exposure to wafer fab operations; at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in capacity planning, cycle time management, WIP control, and productivity optimization within a fab environment.
- Strong knowledge of IE methodologies, including line balancing, bottleneck management, and cost modelling.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and systems (e.g., JMP, SQL, Tableau/Power BI, MES such as PROMIS).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Demonstrated leadership capability in managing cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- High level of accountability, adaptability, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
