Manager, Spare Parts Sales (Manufacturing)
Job Description
The Manager, Spare Parts Sales will lead our Parts Sales Division. In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth, maximizing profitability, enhancing customer satisfaction, and improving operational efficiency. You will oversee sales and marketing strategies, inventory management, and customer relationship initiatives while ensuring the division delivers sustainable business performance.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Business Development
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth and profitability targets.
Monitor sales performance, analyze business results, and implement improvement initiatives where required.
Lead the sales team in expanding aftermarket parts business and identifying new revenue opportunities.
Marketing & Customer Relationship Management
Design and implement marketing initiatives to strengthen customer retention and attract new business.
Enhance market competitiveness and increase market share within the spare parts business.
Ensure customer concerns and complaints are handled effectively to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
Aftersales Business Development
Establish a structured approach to tracking equipment service schedules and proactively engage customers.
Identify opportunities to grow parts sales through aftersales service and equipment lifecycle support.
Support the expansion of refurbishment and service-related business opportunities.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management
Oversee global inventory planning to ensure product availability and meet customer delivery requirements.
Develop and maintain effective inventory control and replenishment processes to optimize stock levels and lead times.
Monitor inventory performance to minimize excess stock while reducing the risk of obsolescence.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.
8–10 years of experience in spare parts sales and inventory management within the automotive, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, or related sectors.
