Manager, Sr. Operations-OPMGRS

Position Overview the Senior Manager of Operations is responsible for the strategic direction and effectively managing the operations within the distribution center including but not limited to order management processing, transportation, inventory management, quality management, shipping and receiving, and customer service. Essential Job Functions • Develop and implement operating policies and procedures across functions such as: customer service, quality control standards, inventory control, materials management, distribution and facility maintenance. • Well-informed on all warehouse activities to ensure the efficient and economical utilization of facility for storing and distributing merchandise (raw materials, finished products, tool and packaging materials). • May review feasibility of new or revised systems and procedures. • Required to analyze trends, solve problems, train, motivate and develop their team. • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. • Leads and directs the work of others. • Other duties as assigned. Requirements • Education: Bachelor’s Level Degree • Experience: 15+ years experience in managing a distribution center and service operation • Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Experience with WMS a plus. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. • Working Conditions: Distribution Center • Other Skills/Abilities: Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
