Manager, Supply Chain Systems
NewBe an early applicantThe Manager Supply Chain Systems is responsible for leading the overall ERP/MRP implementation for the organization, with a strong focus on supply chain readiness, business process alignment, team engagement, and successful adoption. This position serves as a key business leader between Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, IT, Production, Supplier Quality, and other functional areas to ensure the implementation supports business needs and improves daily execution.
This role will provide leadership throughout the implementation by helping define priorities, align departments, prepare users, support change management, and guide the organization through stabilization after launch. The position requires a strong understanding of supply chain operations, including planning, purchasing, inventory control, production scheduling, and material flow. While the primary focus is leading the ERP/MRP implementation and supply chain systems transformation, the role is also expected to support broader supply chain leadership needs as organizational priorities evolve.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the overall ERP/MRP implementation for the organization, with responsibility for keeping priorities aligned, teams engaged, and progress moving forward
- Provide leadership and direction for improving supply chain processes, including planning, purchasing, inventory control, material flow, and production support
- Serve as a key connection between Supply Chain and other departments to ensure business needs are understood, communicated, and supported
- Lead cross-functional discussions, help resolve barriers, and ensure implementation and improvement activities stay on track
- Support clear communication, training, and process expectations so employees understand new ways of working and can successfully adopt the system
- Promote accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement throughout supply chain systems and related business processes
- Monitor progress, communicate updates, and provide leadership with information needed to support decisions and remove obstacles
- Help manage organizational change by preparing teams, reinforcing expectations, and supporting a smooth transition during and after implementation
- Provide leadership support for broader supply chain initiatives as business needs evolve
ADDITIONAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Strong understanding of supply chain operations, including planning, purchasing, inventory control, production support, and material flow
· Experience supporting business system improvements, ERP/MRP implementation, or similar cross-functional projects
· Ability to work effectively with multiple departments, communicate clearly, and help teams adopt new processes
· Strong leadership, organization, problem-solving, and follow-up skills in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
· Comfortable using common Microsoft Office tools and business reports to support daily work and decision-making
· Automotive manufacturing, Tier 1 supplier, or new product launch experience preferred
· Demonstrated flexibility to support broader supply chain or organizational leadership responsibilities as business needs evolve
