Manager, Sustainability

KEY OBJECTIVES:

    • Implement Pandora’s Low Carbon Business Ambitions: Drive the execution of Pandora’s low carbon initiatives, aligned with the Science Based Targets, focusing on decarbonizing the supply chain and operations, particularly within Pandora Production and its related functions.
    • Develop Actionable Roadmaps: Create and implement detailed roadmaps to translate strategic carbon emission reduction initiatives into practical business applications, addressing the needs of both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Foster Stakeholder Collaboration: Build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders to support and advance their carbon reduction goals.
    • Strengthen and mature our sustainability ambition across our own production facilities and in our supply chain to become a leader in the jewellery industry.
  • People Management and Leadership: Inspire and empower teams of subject matter experts to become proactive change agents, aligned with Pandora’s strategic growth and transition toward a Business Partner model. Extend this influence by motivating and enabling our suppliers to embrace the same mindset and drive meaningful change.

The Sustainability Crafting & Supply team is based in Bangkok, Thailand, and sits within the Supply Chain & Sustainability function. In your role as Low Carbon Manager, you will directly report to Senior Manager, Sustainability and Low Carbon. This position is able to support for Low Carbon Manager-level positions within Sustainability team.

KEY DUTIES:

  • Evaluating Current Practices: Assess the company's current carbon footprint and identify areas for improvement as expert for pandora
  • Developing Strategies: Create and implement carbon reduction strategies and initiatives to lower emissions
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage carbon reduction projects from start to finish
  • Calculation GHG emission and methodology: assess the company’s greenhouse gases emission using standardized methods
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track the progress of carbon reduction initiatives and report on their effectiveness
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure adherence to carbon reduction goals and policies
  • Compliance: Stay updated on environmental policies and regulations
  • Research and Recommendations: Research new technologies or practices that could further reduce the company's carbon footprint and recommend their adoption
  • Training and Engagement: Train staff on environmental practices and the importance of carbon reduction e.g. how to create engagement internally, drive internal communications, and build knowledge and sustainability culture
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with external stakeholders, such as suppliers or partners, to promote carbon reduction in the wider business community
