Manager Tax
Tax Compliance
Ensure timely and accurate filing of all direct and indirect tax returns, statements, and statutory submissions.
Ensure timely payment of taxes and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and support implementation across the business.
Coordinate and ensure timely completion of tax compliance, reporting, and other deliverables required by the Regional and Central Tax teams.
Tax Advisory & Business Support
Provide tax advice on commercial initiatives, contracts, new products, and business transactions.
Assess tax implications of business decisions and recommend practical, tax-efficient solutions.
Support implementation of tax planning initiatives and identify opportunities to optimize tax efficiency.
Tax Audits & Litigation
Lead tax audits, assessments, notices, and litigation with tax authorities.
Prepare responses to tax notices and coordinate with external advisors where required.
Identify tax risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures to minimize regulatory and financial exposure.
Team Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop a team of three tax professionals.
Allocate work, monitor performance, and ensure timely delivery of team objectives.
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
ACCA, CA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification.
7–10 years of taxation experience, preferably with a Big Four firm and/or a multinational organization.
Strong knowledge of Pakistan's direct and indirect tax laws.
Experience in tax compliance, tax advisory, tax audits, and tax litigation.
Experience in the e-commerce, online marketplace, or technology sector is preferred.
Exposure to SAP and tax technology solutions will be an added advantage.
