Manager Technical Consulting (m/f/d)

PTV Logistics is reshaping the consulting practises within the PS organisation.
As Manager Technical Consulting, you build and lead PTV's global Technical Consulting practice – a team of technical consultants working cross-regionally through our Ressource Board model. Your team is the technical backbone of every PTV implementation: data, integration, architecture, and migration - structurally SaaS-native and NextGen-ready, and the primary technical home for our Legacy-to-NextGen migration wave.

• You lead and develop the Technical Consulting practice globally – professionally and personally - coordinating cross-regional deployment via the Resource Board
• You own the technical quality and stability of every implementation, and the technical standards, integration frameworks, and playbooks the practice runs on
• You and your team deliver ETL & data management, data migration and technical modeling, API and system integration, technical architecture consulting, performance and quality assurance, and developer enablement highly collaborating with Solution Experts
• You own technical solution health checks and lead technically the Legacy → NextGen migration delivery practice in collaboration with the Customer Success Manager and the PS Delivery Manager
• You manage technical escalation across all projects and collaborate directly with PTV product development on technical questions
• You build the practice's NextGen SaaS and API skills and delivery capacity as PTV scales its cloud-native portfolio
• You work closely with Business Consulting (joint solution design), Solution Experts/Consultants (solution architecture handoff), and the PS Delivery Managers.

• Completed degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a comparable qualification, plus relevant professional experience
• Strong technical consulting background - API/system integration, data migration, cloud/SaaS architecture - ideally in logistics or supply chain software
• Proven people leadership experience - you have built, coached, and grown a technical consulting or engineering team before
• Hands-on experience with ETL tooling, integration middleware, and modern SaaS architectures
• Experienced and aknowledged on our PTV Logistics solution portfolio and its technical integration approaches
• Confident working with project/PSA tools and KPI systems
• A natural communicator and thought leader who thinks in customer outcomes, not features, and enjoys developing people as much as solving problems
• Comfortable being the technical escalation point across multiple concurrent, complex projects
• Fluent in English; German or other European languages are a plus
• Open to travel as needed across the practice's regions
