Manager - Transformation - KRC
Roles & responsibilities
•The position in discussion is with the Lean OpEx Transformation team at KGS, which is KPMG’s global delivery center and an integral part of the firm’s strategy to enhance innovation, build scalability, and improve profitability globally.
•
Principal Duties/Responsibilities
•Work closely with the Transformation leads for KGS, BU’s, Support Functional heads, Business Owners to drive Operational Excellence
•Manage large operations transformation initiatives working closely with KGSDP Leadership team as well as global KPMG member firms
•Assess all aspects of current operating model including people, process, technology etc. as well as design and implement target operating model, working in close collaboration with the service lines
•Lead CI culture establishment to generate problem solving and analytical mindset within teams
•Delivery tangible outcomes through OpEx projects and initiatives driving efficient project management practices
•Collaborate within BU’s / Peer experts /Global teams to maximize benefit realization
•Create and deliver a communications plan which builds a deep and wide understanding of OpEx across the division
•Identify and grow potential OpEx Internal resource and evangelists. Increase the Pool of quality improvement Catalysts across KGS
Qualifications
•Graduate / Engineering background (Tier1 colleges etc.)
•MBA (Preferred, not mandatory)
•Certified Six Sigma Black Belt
Work experience
•8-12+ years of overall work experience
•5+ years in independently driving transformation projects in large global organizations or with consulting firms
•Must have relevant experience in a similar role, preferably with a Big 4 and/or leading Consulting firms
Mandatory Skills
•Analytical skills – ability to investigate, identify underlying issues in processes
•Exposure to Quality / Operational Excellence tools and techniques
•Excellent project management and governance skills
•Should have excellent knowledge and experience of running lean projects

•Experience of building value stream maps and ability to use Lean tools / methodology
