Manager, US Data Operations

Position Summary
The Manager, Data Operations is responsible for the end-to-end onboarding, integration, and operational management of US commercial data assets. This role plays a critical leadership function in delivering high quality, analytics ready data across the enterprise, with a primary focus on IQVIA claims data, OneKey HCP/HCO master data, and Specialty Pharmacy (SP) / program data.
The role partners closely with internal stakeholders across Analytics, CRM, IT, Compliance, and Finance, as well as with external data vendors, to ensure data is onboarded accurately, governed effectively, and delivered on schedule to support commercial, reporting, and regulatory needs.
Key Responsibilities
Data Onboarding & Integration
• Lead end to end onboarding of external data sources, including IQVIA claims (e.g., LAAD / LAAD Plus), OneKey HCP/HCO reference data, and Specialty Pharmacy / program data.
• Own data intake assessments, onboarding plans, historical backfills, validation cycles, and production releases.
• Coordinate parallel runs, cutover planning, and migrations when introducing new data sources or replacing legacy datasets.
• Ensure seamless integration of data into downstream platforms such as data warehouses, analytics environments, CRM systems, and compliance platforms.
• Master Data Management (HCP/HCO)
• Serve as operational lead for HCP/HCO master data onboarding and maintenance, with strong emphasis on OneKey data.
• Manage identifier matching, cross walks, hierarchies, and specialty mappings to support commercial and compliance use cases.
• Define and enforce data precedence, stewardship rules, and remediation processes in partnership with governance and compliance teams.
• Data Quality & Operational Oversight
• Establish and manage recurring data quality monitoring, validation, and issue resolution processes across claims, SP, and reference data.
• Investigate and resolve data issues through structured root cause analysis and cross functional collaboration.
• Provide data readiness sign off to ensure datasets meet defined quality standards prior to business use.
• Vendor & Specialty Pharmacy Data Contract Execution Support
• Act as the primary operational liaison for external data vendors (e.g., IQVIA), managing delivery timelines, scope alignment, and issue resolution.
• Support contract execution activities including Statements of Work (SOWs), change requests, renewals, and delivery estimates.
• Track vendor deliverables and dependencies to ensure compliance with contractual and service level commitments.
• Cross Functional Collaboration & I&A Team Enablement
• Serve as the go-to Data Operations contact for onboarding initiatives, working closely with Analytics, IT, CRM, Transparency Reporting, Sales Ops and Marketing partners.
• Translate business requirements into clear operational plans, milestones, and
acceptance criteria.
• Provide guidance and oversight to offshore or extended delivery teams to ensure consistent execution and documentation.
• Contribute to process standardization, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives across Data Operations.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in data operations, data management, or commercial data roles, preferably within life sciences or healthcare.
• Hands on experience with IQVIA data assets (claims and/or OneKey) or similar large scale healthcare data sources.
• Strong understanding of master data management (MDM) concepts, HCP/HCO data, and identifier management.
• Proven ability to manage complex, vendor dependent data onboarding and operational delivery.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting commercial analytics, CRM, or transparency/compliance use cases.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Veeva Network, SAP, Model N, or similar enterprise systems.
• Experience working in a regulated environment with strong data governance requirements.
