Job summary:
Responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities in both CA1 and BG1, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods. Manages inventory accuracy, implements process improvements, and ensures compliance with safety and quality standards. Leads and develops the warehouse team to achieve operational excellence, optimize productivity, and support overall business objectives.

Responsible for:

Maintains receiving, inventory management and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing programs.
Accomplishes warehouse operations by recruiting, selecting, training, and coaching employees.
Meets warehouse operations by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, and scheduling expenditures.
Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees.
Develops warehouse operations systems by determining product handling and storage.
Ensuring a well-coordinated reception of all materials, items, and products, and making sure they are sorted, labelled, and stored per company standards and policies
Manages warehouse operations by stock control, inventory management, and motivating employees.
Develops warehouse design by planning layout, product flow, and product handling systems.
Develops warehouse operations systems by analysing process workflow and implementing changes.
Achieves warehouse operations by contributing recommendations and following policies.
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts and reconciles with ERP systems.
Maintains the physical condition of the warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts.
Improves staff performance by coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees.
Ensuring delivery deadlines, picking accuracy, service level and quality objectives are met
Liaising with customer service, suppliers, and transport companies, and operating IT and mechanical systems.

Qualifications:

A bachelor’s in business administration is a plus. A Warehouse Manager position generally requires a candidate to have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as transport management, supply chain management, retail management, operational research, business management, economics, or business information systems.
5+ years of warehouse operations experience. Previous management experience, especially in a similar environment (Fashion Retail) is a plus.
Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written). - Due to the nature of the position and regular interactions with customers, business partners, and/or colleagues outside of Quebec, fluency in both French and English (spoken and written) is required to ensure effective communication and high-quality service.
