Manager - Warehouse Pricing & Analytics
SUMMARY
The Manager – Operational Pricing & Analytics works closely with Business Development, Warehouse Operations, Finance, and Engineering to provide pricing for new and existing business opportunities within Armada Hub’s or 3PL Partner network. This role will utilize existing cost models or develop new pricing models based upon the unique business requirements. The role will support reviewing post implementation operational characteristic reviews to determine if the business quotes materialized as expected.
Job Responsibilities
- Develops, analyzes, and communicates pricing recommendations for new and existing business opportunities
- Provides pricing analysis and recommendations for customer negotiations
- Leads or participates in Operational Characteristics Reviews to validate pricing assumptions and business performance
- Helps with internal RFP requirements and information gathering
- Maintains an archive of pricing quotations
- Conducts semiannual benchmarking of market pricing, competitors, and industry trends
- Evaluates new business opportunities submitted by the sales team for operational and financial feasibility
- Conducts an ROI analysis based upon the scope of work and operating characteristics after implementation.
- Develops new models based on the unique needs of a new business vertical.
- Participates in internal kick off meetings for business implementation.
- Works with Business Development to identify areas outside initial scope to provide needed information for customer discussions.
- Travel to customer and operational locations as needed to assess existing operations and validate business requirements
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Business, Operations Management, or a related field; equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered
- 7+ years of experience in 3PL logistics, warehouse operations, pricing, supply chain analytics, or solution design preferred
- Must possess problem-solving capabilities to discover, address and resolve issues
- Ability to translate technical concepts into actionable insights for many different organizational departments.
Technical Skill Requirements
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Advanced Excel modeling
- Financial analysis and ROI modeling
- Cost-to-serve analysis
- Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
- SQL knowledge
- Transportation and warehousing cost modeling
- Experience responding to RFPs/RFIs
- Exposure to business applications and intelligence tools, Microsoft Office Suite
