Bluegrass Orthopaedics is looking for a Workers’ Compensation Manager to lead our workers’ comp program. You’ll own the full journey from referral to case completion, working with physicians, employers, adjusters, and nurse case managers to make us the first-choice provider for occupational injuries.

What you’ll do

• Lead and develop the workers’ comp team: hiring, coaching, setting service standards, and building a culture of accountability and teamwork
• Oversee the workflow from referral through return to work, including referral response times, appointment access, authorizations, physician documentation, surgery coordination, and employer follow-up
• Build strong relationships with employers, adjusters, third-party administrators, nurse case managers, and community partners
• Partner with physicians and physician liaisons to deliver responsive communication and measurable results
• Track and report on KPIs such as referral growth, revenue, employer retention, documentation turnaround, and patient and physician satisfaction, then act on what the numbers tell you
• Spot ways to improve efficiency and put best practices in place
• Travel between our sites and to employers as needed
