Managing Director (Indian and Asian countries markets)
Summary
Senior banking executive to lead Sberbank’s India-focused expansion, securing licenses, opening branches, and managing regulatory compliance in the rupee zone.
We are looking for Managing Director, who will be responsible for managing the transaction business and special projects related to the Indian and Asian countries markets.\- Managing projects related to:
* Expansion of the branch network and entry into the new markets in India and South Asia;
* Development of corresponding relations with banks in Asia
* Obtaining licenses for new banking services;
\- Leading of teams (10 subordinates).* Bachelor/Master of degree (Finance and banking is preferable);
* 15+ years of experience in banking / financial sector;
* Experience in managing branches/subsidiaries abroad;
* 5+ years of experience in senior positions (Deputy CEO / COO / CRO / CCO) at international markets;
* Experience in South Asian / African markets is preferred;
* Practical experience:
* being able to interact with regulators (inspections, licensing)
* opening branches / representative offices in new countries and entering new jurisdictions
* obtaining licenses for new banking activities;
* In-depth knowledge of international settlements: AML/CFT, KYC
* English language: C1/C2. French language is preferable.
