【What You’ll Be Working On】
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve the company’s short- and long-term objectives and drive sustainable business growth.
- Provide strategic insights, market intelligence, and recommendations to the Board of Directors to support key business decisions.
- Lead and oversee the company’s overall business operations, financial performance, investments, and new business ventures.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop initiatives to strengthen the company’s market position and long-term competitiveness.
- Ensure that company policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations are effectively communicated and implemented across the organization.
- Provide leadership and direction to senior management and foster a high-performing, collaborative organizational culture.
- Monitor business performance and take appropriate actions to address challenges and maximize operational and financial results.
【What They’re Looking For】
- Minimum 10 years of extensive experience in a Managing Director, General Manager, Country Manager, or other senior leadership role.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in developing and implementing strategic and business plans, preferably within the same or a closely related industry.
- Proven track record of leading business growth, driving organizational performance, and managing complex business operations.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, presentation, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior management, Board members, Japan Headquarters, and other key stakeholders.
- Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese is mandatory, as the role requires frequent communication and coordination with Japan Headquarters and Japanese-speaking stakeholders.
