Mandarin Translator

Spark Operations Technology establish a hyperscale AI Data Center in Batam, Indonesia, leveraging strategic location advantages, reliable energy infrastructure, and strong technical collaboration. The investment is structured in three phases, supported technically by Range Data, China's largest AI data center company.

Location: Nongsa, Batam, Indonesia. selected for its strategic proximity to regional markets, particularly Singapore, developed infrastructure, competitive land costs, supportive regulatory environment, and availability of skilled workforce. Total land acquisition of 30 hectares, starting with an initial 10 hectares in Phase 1.

Job responsibilities

1. Translate and interpret communication between Mandarin-speaking management and Indonesian employees

2. Provide Mandarin–English-Indonesian translation during meetings, discussions, and daily work activities

3. Assist in translating company documents, SOPs, instructions, reports, and other related materials

4. Accompany Mandarin-speaking management during operational activities when required

5. Ensure information and instructions are communicated accurately between Chinese and Indonesian teams

6. Assist departments in communication and coordination with Mandarin-speaking management

7. Maintain confidentiality of company information and documents

8. Perform other translation and administrative tasks as assigned by management

About you

• Minimum education: Senior High School (SMA/SMK) or equivalent

• Fluent in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Indonesia, both spoken and written

• HSK certification is preferred but not mandatory

• Previous experience as a Mandarin Translator/Interpreter, preferably in a manufacturing company

• Good understanding of Mandarin business and workplace terminology

• Able to translate accurately and communicate information clearly

• Good communication, interpersonal, and coordination skills

• Responsible, detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
